Accounting clerk (A/P & A/R)
Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal oriented team, and reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be mainly responsible for the following:
. Entering cash receipts and completing bank deposits.
. Matching, coding and entering invoices in a computerized accounts payable/receivable system.
. Preparing invoices for customers
. Assisting with month and year end closings and will be required to prepare various excel reports
. Accounting Clerical duties such as filing and responding to vendor inquiries
. Responsible for other related duties and assignments deemed appropriate.
Requirements and Skills:
. Minimum of 2 years experience as a data entry clerk in an accounting department
. Completion of an accounting diploma will be considered an asset
. Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel and data entry skills
. Knowledge of Simply Accounting or Quickbooks
. Ability to function in a fast paced environment
. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
